KONSEP MANAJEMEN DAN IMPLEMENTASINYA DALAM PROGRAM BAITUL ARQAM 1 DAN 2 LPPIK UMS

This study aims to analyze the management of the implementation of the Baitul Arqam 1 and 2 Program organized by LPPIK University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta in supporting the development of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah for students. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a field study approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively using George R. Terry's management function theory which includes planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC). The results of the study show that the implementation of the Baitul Arqam Program has implemented a systematic management function starting from schedule planning, division of team and facilitator tasks, organizing participants, implementing learning that is integrated with the values of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah, to control through monitoring, evaluation, and program follow-up. The implementation of management is considered effective in supporting the achievement of the vision, mission, goals, and targets of the Baitul Arqam Program, which is to form students who have a comprehensive understanding of Islam, have an Islamic character, and are able to implement Muhammadiyah values in academic and social life. The novelty of this research lies in the analysis of the management of the implementation of the Baitul Arqam Program using the POAC approach combined with the results of interviews with program managers, so as to provide a more comprehensive picture of the governance of the Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah cadre regeneration programs within Muhammadiyah Universities.
