The development of digital technology has given rise to various forms of online transactions that provide convenience for society. However, behind this convenience, various problems have emerged, such as information manipulation, digital fraud, fake reviews, product mismatches, and unclear agreements that potentially create gharar in transactions. This study aims to analyze the principle of tabayyun in online transactions from the perspective of Islamic Economic Law and its relevance as an instrument to prevent digital information manipulation. The research method used is normative legal research with a conceptual approach and a sharia approach through library research. The results show that the principle of tabayyun has an important position in online transactions as a form of information verification to avoid elements of gharar, tadlis, and dharar. From the perspective of Islamic Economic Law, tabayyun is not only a moral ethic but also a preventive principle in maintaining transparency, justice, and consumer protection within the digital ecosystem. The implementation of tabayyun can be carried out through verification of seller identity, checking product reviews, clarity of contracts, and transparency of information regarding goods or services traded online.
