Apakah Pendidikan dapat Memoderasi Angkatan Kerja terhadap Pengangguran di Kalimantan Selatan?

Abstract

The unemployment phenomenon due to the imbalance between the number of workers and the available jobs is often a problem that can lower people's living standards. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of moderation in the level of education at the workforce level on the unemployment rate in South Kalimantan. This study uses a quantitative method with secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency as a data source. Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) with a time series of 2015-2024 was used as a data analysis technique assisted by Eviews 13. This study found that education is a moderating variable that can moderate the workforce against unemployment. The high level of education taken by prospective workers can solve unemployment conditions because education can encourage workforce productivity.
