Vocational education is designed to prepare students to become professional workers equipped with specific applied skills. This paper discusses issues related to vocational education from the perspectives of psychology, sociology, and economics. Through a literature review, the paper identifies challenges and opportunities in the development of vocational education in Indonesia, including certification programs, internship collaborations with international companies, and internationally standardized training. The analysis shows that vocational education plays a crucial role in enhancing the competitiveness of the workforce and meeting labor market demands. In conclusion, vocational education must continue to be developed through collaboration between educational institutions and industry.
