PEMANFAATAN MEDIA POP UP BOOK INTERAKTIF SEBAGAI INOVASI PEMBELAJARAN DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH SWASTA NUR RAHMAN MARTAPURA

This community service aimed to utilize interactive pop‑up books as an innovative learning medium at MIS Nur Rahman, Martapura. The lack of varied learning media was the main cause of low student motivation and engagement. The methods used were socialization, interactive lectures, and question‑and‑answer sessions, by displaying 4 pop‑up books on the themes: family (Arabic language), speaking and listening (Indonesian language), professions (English), and electric current (science). The activity lasted for 1 hour and involved 38 fourth‑grade students (22 boys, 16 girls). The results showed high student enthusiasm, with active participation in the Q&A session reaching 89.5% and positive teacher responses regarding the use of pop‑up books across subjects. Qualitatively, students more easily remembered vocabulary, explained electric current concepts, and dared to speak in front of the class. It is concluded that interactive pop‑up books effectively increase student engagement and can serve as an alternative learning innovation in madrasah ibtidaiyah. It is recommended to provide pop‑up book making training for teachers and extend the learning duration.
