PENDAMPINGAN BIMBINGAN MENYEMPURNAKAN THAHARAH DAN SHALAT PESERTA DIDIK DI SMAN 5 PARIAMAN

Thaharah and prayer are important parts in the formation of students' religious character. However, in practice, mistakes are still found in the implementation of both worship in the school environment. Community service is a mentoring effort carried out by teachers and school parties in perfecting the understanding and implementation of thaharah and prayer at SMAN 5 Pariaman. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with observation, interview, and documentation study methods. The results showed that mentoring activities were carried out through worship guidance, direct practice, and periodic supervision by Islamic Religious Education teachers and religious coaches. In addition, the existence of routine religious programs such as flash pesantren and rohis mentoring also strengthens the coaching process. Consistent mentoring has a positive impact on students' understanding and quality of worship. This article recommends that similar programs continue to be developed to form students' personalities who are more religious and obedient to worship
